Originated in Central Asia but refined and improved in China. the Technique includes the use of Copper Wire, Enamel, and Glass powder, which is then fired, hand ground and hand polished.
The Piece begins with the copper that is moulded into any shape, be it a vase, or box. The copper frame is then added to the piece to create the design. The artist then writes down the exact colour and fills each inlay to create the desired end piece. All pieces are subject to unrelenting detail, using the finest quality products, finishes and manual labour.
